Revelation 3:1-3
Wake up simply means to arise and be active. It also means to come out from the captivity of laziness, lookwormness and become active for God.

Areas we need to be Active
1. Our Prayer life: Our prayer life need to be active. A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian.
2. Our Study life (Studying God's word): We need to always study the word of God to always know what God said about our situation and how to handle them.
3. Our service to God and man: Our main purpose on Earth is to know God, love Him, serve Him and to serve our fellow human being. In doing this, you are fulfilling God's purpose for your existence.

Why must we wake up?
1. We must wake up because the labourers are few. Mathew 9:37. God need you to attend to his people.
2. We must wake up because God is not interested in laziness or lookwormness. Sleepers have no future with God.
3. We must wake up because the devil is ever ready to pollute the destiny of sleepers. Matthew 13:24, Proverbs 6:10-11.
When you are lazy and lookwormness before God, you will become a tool for the devil to use.

How to stay awake
1.Fight the spirit of laziness and lookwormness and profesy strength and grace to your life.
2. Engage yourself with works that give glory to God. Romans 12:11, Matthew 20:7
3. Always study and meditate on God's word. Joshua 1:8.
4. Carryout spiritual activities to aid your spiritual growth. (Fasting and Prayer).
5. Pray and ask God for fresh encounter. Isaiah 6:1-

In conclusion, always stay awake and be active because in been active for God can you fulfill the purpose for your existence.
